The fandom started jokingly treating it as if she was permanently killed and written off the show, and that's why she appeared so little at the time.

A single man then enters the scene but is accompanied with a bunch of disembodied voices saying this line, the implication being the shareholders are talking sperm.

    • DON'T HUG ME I'M SCARED SEVEN Explanation Since the creators of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared co-wrote "The Puppets," along with designing and voicing the titular characters, it's become popular to joke that "The Puppets" is the secret seventh episode of the series, especially given that the puppetry sequence is largely a Lighter and Softer version of the infamous show.
  • "Oh heck noooo". Explanation What the Internet says in "The Intelligence"
  • "Ba-da-ditty, i'm just filling time. I'm not even gonna make it rhyme." Explanation Part of a song Mr. Corneille listens to in "The Cage" instead of training for a fight against a super strong man.

  • Little Teddy in "The Safety", a Stylistic Suck video about a teddy bear who keeps getting in trouble for not being safe. Plus, the kids' reactions to it ◊.
  • This comic where a Boo puts the crown to become "Booette", and turns out becoming Carrie. She gives a Flat "What" after it. This also references her early design ◊ resembling Boo.
  • "GB644", the production code for the series finale note The show's production codes are composed by "GB" (abbreviation for Gumball), the season number (1-6) and the episode number in the production order of that season, which is not always the airing number. For example, "The Quest" was the first episode produced in Season 1, so its production code is GB101, even though it was the seventh episode aired. The last season is the sixth and it has 44 episodes.. Before the actual series ending, fans jokingly said something would happen in the finale, like "Ocho dies in GB644" or "Rachel comes back in GB644". The actual finale is "The Inquisition". These two examples end up being Hilarious in Hindsight, since while the former didn't directly happen, everyone in Elmore supposedly died after the Void consumed it, and the latter happened in Darwin's Yearbook (clips from "The Party" with her are shown and Tobias says she's in college).
  • "THIS BIRD IS OUT OF CONTROL!!!" Explanation In "The Shippening", when Gumball and Darwin meet made-up characters named Zachariah and Bexi, the line "THIS BIRD IS OUT OF CONTROL!!!" is Bexi's catchphrase.
  • You have lost penis privilege Explanation A shot of Gumball and Darwin holding scissors taken from one scene of "The Petals", which, when combined with the above caption, implies that the two are going to cut off the other person's penis. Used to tell someone else that their joke was bad or unfunny or as a way to say Dude, Not Funny! for a tasteless joke.
  • Nicolau Antônio Explanation A Brazilian shitpost featuring a low-quality image of Clayton's prototype design, with the caption "Nicolau Antônio" under it.
  • CORNED BEEF. Explanation From a scene where Nicole finds a pallet of corned beef under a grocery store shelf and holds up a can, saying "Corned beef" in a funny voice with funny expression.
    • 🅱️ O R N E D ☪️ E E F Explanation On any video of the "Corned beef" scene, you'll usually find at least one comment like this. It's a spoonerism of the above phrase with emojis.
  • Alan Eggplant. Explanation From the scene from "The Decisions" where Alan tells two toddlers about healthy eating while struggling to "eat" an eggplant
    • Another one with Alan: Pitching down clips of him speaking such as this one, showing that without the helium effect, he sounds a lot like Tobias (they are both voiced by Hugo Harrison).
